Yusuke Mizuno
Born in 1979 in Seto city, Aichi, Yusuke Mizuno trained in ceramic-making under his father Hanjiro Mizuno, the 7th generation descendant of the Seto kilns. The Seto Hongyo kilns were founded in the late Edo period, and descendants have inherited the name "Hanjiro Mizuno" for generations, making practical ceramics whist protecting a traditional division of labor. While he works hard as the 8th in line, Yusuke Mizuno also exhibits and lectures at venues around the country in order to spread the charms of Seto Hongyo.
